As fall comes and the leaves begin to change to brilliant hues of gold and red, one might wonder what is there to do around London. There are many, many events that take place during this beautiful season and that are easy to get to and full of wonderment. Speaking of breathtaking events, the Enchanted Woodland is a splendid event open until December and there are many more to choose from. So, if you’re looking for unforgettable events to partake in, look no further.
The Enchanted Woodland
The first of these incredible events in London this autumn is the Enchanted Woodland. During the months of late November to early December this wonderful place is open to the public. The Great Conservatory and Capability Brown gardens are changed into a majestic wonderland with brilliant lightings under and around the trees.
The Royal Collection
Another of these grand events includes the Royal Collection. The Royal Collection is a special arts museum with a multitude of exhibits. The new fall exhibits are a must-see! “From the Royal Academy to the Queen” is the name of one of the exhibits, with works of many high profile artists. The second exhibit showcases major works from Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione. If you love art, this is the place to be. These new exhibits are open from November 1st to March 16th, 2014.
There are also some single day events this falls that you should take note of. One of these major events is the Alexandra Palace “Back with a Bang!” Fireworks Display. The Ally Pally will be starting the party at 14:00 on November 2nd at the palace. There will be food and entertainment to go with this large display of beauty and celebration. Unlike the other events it only lasts one day so you might not want to miss it.
