For most people, travel anxiety builds up when the days are getting closer to leave while for others it is more of an excitement. The unease feeling is mainly due to visiting a new place which is out of one’s comfort zone or the long voyage to the airport and in the plane. It is a big challenge that often leads to strain that can easily spoil your mood. Thus why we have gathered some ways for you to cope with such situations to fully enjoy this long awaited holiday!

Accept the fact that you are anxious

It is only by reminding yourself that the nervousness is simply an emotional reaction that you can start to accept it. Accepting this feeling doesn’t mean liking it or handing yourself to an unhappy existence. It only means that you are accepting the reality as it is, which would be beneficial for you.

Picture yourself at one of your favourite place, with a clear blue sky and the sun shining bright. Assign your emotions, thoughts and sensations to the leaves and clouds, and just watch them float by.
